I can make your piano sound and play better

I have been tuning full time for over 40 years in Los Angeles.  I am the staff piano technician for the Village Recording Studio in West Los Angeles and the Broad Stage Performing Arts Center in Santa Monica.  I was credited as the piano technician on Elton John’s 2 albums “Wonderful Crazy Night” and “The Diving Board” and was also credited as the piano technician on Billy Childs “The Winds of Change” which won the 2023 Grammy for Best Instrumental Jazz Album.

I received my B.A. from U.C. Berkeley and completed Yamaha Piano’s week long Performance Piano Service Seminar.  I studied aural tuning with David Safir and learned voicing, repair and regulation skills in his shop at Pianos Wholesale.  I am a member of the NARAS Producers and Engineers Wing.

I am also CyberTuner’s Imagineer, responsible for conceptualizing visionary new features.  CyberTuner is the worldwide leader in piano tuning software.
